We work with eleven stays. Nine are in our own Himalayan Discovery network: Hotel Sarahan Inn in Sarahan; The Shambhu Lodge and Hotel Legendary Rupin River View in Rakchham, Sangla valley; Hotel White Nest, Hotel Royal Voyages and Hotel Him Paradise in Kalpa; The Delek House and Hotel Palvey Kaza in Kaza; and Chanshal Camps & Resort near Rohru in the Pabbar valley. Two are partner hotels we know well: The Tiger Inn in Tabo and Hotel Woodcrista in Kufri. Because we deal with each property directly, we can hold rooms ahead of every batch, including in peak season. Each hotel has its own page with photos, room types and rates.

Rooms start from ₹3,500 a night + GST at Hotel Sarahan Inn, The Shambhu Lodge, Hotel Legendary Rupin River View, Hotel White Nest, Hotel Royal Voyages and Hotel Him Paradise. The Delek House starts at ₹4,000, Chanshal Camps & Resort at ₹4,500 with breakfast and dinner included, and Hotel Palvey Kaza at ₹5,000. Family suites and four-bed rooms run ₹5,600 to ₹8,000. The Tiger Inn and Hotel Woodcrista quote rates on request. These are room rates for stays booked on their own; on our fixed departures and custom trips, the hotel is bundled into the per-person price. Rates can shift around festivals and peak summer, so we confirm the exact price for your dates.

Hotel White Nest in Kalpa stays open through winter, with 24/7 heating and Kinner Kailash views from most rooms, which is why our Winter Expedition and New Year batches use it. Hotel Palvey Kaza closes for the winter. Several other properties reduce operations in the coldest months, when tourist traffic in Kinnaur and Spiti drops sharply, so our winter departures use a smaller, consistent set of hotels. If you are planning winter travel on your own, tell us your dates and we will confirm which properties are open before you book.

Most do. Hotel Royal Voyages and Hotel Him Paradise offer WiFi and heating, Hotel White Nest has 24/7 heating built for winter stays, and The Tiger Inn in Tabo has high-speed WiFi and power backup. Heating varies by property: some use room heaters on demand (billed separately on certain packages, such as the Winter Expedition) rather than central heating, so check the arrangement for your hotel. WiFi holds up better in Kalpa and Kaza than in Spiti's higher villages, where connectivity can be patchy whatever the hotel. If you need reliable connectivity for work, Kalpa is the safer base.
